Tax Dollars....

Wind still blowing hard, and showers around, so no point going to another ultralight field that I know about.....  So decided to go to the Pima Aircraft Museum, in south Tucson.

Nearby is this enormous 'bone-yard' 

of retired military aircraft.

See where the tax dollars go....

 A nice bit of artwork at the museum.

 I'm not at all interested in the multitude of 

fighters and bombers displayed,

But I was intrigued by this quiet reconnaissance aircraft.
That would be a fun aircraft....

That's the quiet prop, interesting design.....

How's this for a midget, wingspan 6'6".

 Must have been scary to fly.....

Then here's the opposite in wingspan.....

This gets the prize for 'ugly duckling'

But how about that dual tail wheel!
